Mission

Description 

The Sheriff’s Office Administration includes the Sheriff, Undersheriff, Office Manager, Administrative Assistant and Records Technician. Together, these positions manage the Sheriff’s Office. 

2026 Goals

  • Remain fully staffed  
  • Keep working on accuracy of our billing process 
  • Increase fleet shop rate  
  • Continue to work on the representation of Archuleta County  
  • Raise inventory for high use items (due to national shortages) 
  • Replace outdated small fleet vehicles 
  • Work on simplifying vehicle scheduling  
  • Correspondence with the District Attorney 
  • ID Badge Management for Archuleta County 
  • Case Management
