Mission

The Archuleta County Combined Dispatch Center is committed to providing all citizens, visitors and first responders with the highest levels of customer service, professionalism, compassion, and efficiency.

We are dedicated to working tirelessly to protect first responders’ safety during all incidents and to remain consistently available to the public as a calm, capable, compassionate voice during their times of need. Core Services:

  • Regionally dedicated PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) for Archuleta County 
  • Provide a necessary link in emergency communications between citizens and four responding emergency service agencies – Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office, Pagosa Springs Police Department, Pagosa Springs Medical Center Emergency Medical Services, and Pagosa Springs Fire Protection District 
  • Monitor and ensure citizen and responder safety during incidents  
  • Allocate the appropriate critical resources in a timely manner during times of crisis 
  • Establish and maintain CFS (Call for Service) reports of all dispatched incidents 
  • Prepare detailed reports of dispatch activities for the Archuleta County Dispatch Executive Management Board of Directors
